The Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and the Gili Air in Lombok are the ideal getaway for anyone looking to go away to beautiful, natural, and quiet surroundings. They offer amazing reefs and menacing dive locations like Shark Reef. This is the reason why Western tourists seeking a distant island experience frequently travel to these islands.
The Gili Islands are one of the best locations for divers and snorkelers to come up close to a variety of marine life, including a green turtle (Chelonia mydas) in all its splendor. Swim up to it and observe how gracefully it moves through the water. These turtles should be visible between 10 and 20 meters beneath the surface of the water.
The three islands that make up the Gilis are Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. Gili is the word for “island” in the indigenous Sasak language. The plural form of a noun is indicated in Indonesian by repeating it.

You’ll never lack for entertainment here because to the large selection of restaurants and pubs.

Try Gili Meno or Gili Air if you want a peaceful vacation. The most populous of the Gili Islands, Gili Air, is located the closest to the mainland. The smallest island, Gili Meno, has the feeling of being the farthest away because it only has a limited number of year-round residents. Numerous lodging facilities and eateries have been constructed to blend in with the laid-back village feel of the islands.
